Uneekor EYE MINI LITE review

The indoor, fixed version of the EYE MINI makes sense for a permanent garage or basement build. Plan for a strong Windows PC and a wired connection.

I'd buy it if

Permanent garage or basement builds on a mid budget.

I'd skip it if

You want to take it to the range, or use an iPad instead of a PC.

My take on the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE

At $1,999 it's one of the cheapest ways into a camera unit beside the ball. Owners call it good value once it's working, and say GSPro results feel realistic on course.

It's very much an install, not a gadget: no battery, no Wi-Fi, no iPad, wired Ethernet and a Windows PC. A few owners report ball and club speed reading a little low compared with GCQuad and Trackman, leaving 7-iron carries a few yards short.

I'd buy it for a dedicated room on a mid budget. If you want to take your launch monitor to the range, it's the wrong unit.

What I'd check before buying

  • Indoor only and fixed to one side
  • Uneekor Pro ($199/yr) for GSPro
  • Wired Ethernet and a Windows PC

How I put this review together: I haven't had this unit in my own bay. It's built from Uneekor's own pages, retailer listings, published reviews and owner reports, each linked below. My research method.

The real cost of the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE

I saw it at $1,999.00 (list price $2,750.00). Same as the EYE MINI: Pro ($199/yr) + GSPro ($250/yr) for third-party sims. Needs wired Ethernet and a Windows PC.

Plan or add-onPer yearRequired? What it unlocks
Uneekor Player package$0OptionalIncluded free: ball and club data, VIEW virtual driving range, 100 Power U reports, 1 profile. Does NOT include third-party software connector.
Uneekor Pro$199.00OptionalThird-party software connector (GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019, Creative Golf), Refine (5 courses), 500 reports, 5 profiles. Effectively REQUIRED to use any third-party sim.

Uneekor Ultimate$599.00OptionalChampion + GAMEDAY (40+ courses, needs two displays), online/tournament play, 100 profiles. 3 months free with new units.
GSPro license (third party, sold separately)$250.00OptionalGSPro course play; Uneekor FAQ says it ALSO needs an active Pro/Champion/Ultimate membership, so GSPro on Uneekor ~ $449/yr
Uneekor + GSPro integrated membership (announced 2026-10-18)$299.00Optional'Starting at' $299/yr for NEW Uneekor customers: GSPro course play + AI Trainer + VIEW; existing owners can switch at renewal. Exact tier contents beyond the news report unverified.
Year one
$2,448
Three years
$3,346
Five years
$4,244

My math: price + the yearly plan a typical owner needs to play full courses ($449.00/yr). Excludes net, mat, screen and projector. Compare every plan.

Where to buy

Uneekor membership tiers: Player free, Pro $199 per year, Champion $399 per year, Ultimate $599 per year
Uneekor's tiers: third-party software like GSPro needs Pro or higher. Screenshot of the maker's page, captured Oct 27, 2026.

The room it needs

The Uneekor EYE MINI LITE is a camera-based unit (side of ball (stationary floor unit beside hitting area)). Units beside the ball read the launch with cameras, so they need little depth, but they must move to the other side for a left-handed golfer.

Unit behind the ballNot published

Room depth (minimum)Not published
Room width (minimum)Not published

Indoor / outdoorIndoor only
Special balls or stickersNo marked balls; club stickers for club data.

Uneekor only says 'ensure you have enough space to swing a driver safely'. Hitting zone 12 in L x 8 in W. Needs constant power, a Windows 11 gaming PC (RTX 4070 Ti class recommended for VIEW/AI Trainer) and wired Ethernet (two dedicated ports). Same side-of-ball footprint as EYE MINI, so EYE MINI retailer room guidance (~10-12 ft to screen) is a reasonable proxy but not stated by Uneekor.

What it measures (and what it estimates)

Makers rarely label which numbers are measured and which are calculated. Where the sources split them, I show it. A calculated value isn't useless, but it's more likely to drift indoors.

Measured

  • ball speed
  • launch angle
  • side angle
  • back spin
  • side spin
  • club speed (stickers)
  • club path (stickers)
  • attack angle (stickers)

Calculated / estimated

  • spin axis
  • smash factor
  • carry
  • run
  • total distance
  • apex
  • distance to apex
  • flight time
  • angle of descent
  • side total
  • ball flight type

19 data points (15 ball + 4 club), same list as EYE MINI. No face angle, face-to-path, impact point, dynamic loft, lie. Club data needs stickers (1,280 included). No feature tiers for data per PlayBetter.

Software and compatibility

Native apps: Uneekor VIEW (PC), Refine / Refine+ (with membership), GAMEDAY (Ultimate). Runs on PC (Windows 11) only.

What published reviews found

These outlets published their own reviews. I summarize their headline verdict; read the full review for their testing details.

  • Breaking Eighty

9.2/10: not for everyone, but may be perfect for a budget dedicated indoor sim.

  • PlayBetter (retailer review)

Outstanding for dedicated indoor sims; not for portable/outdoor users or fitters who need minimal variance.

Questions people ask

How much does the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE really cost?

$1,999 at the street price I saw on 2026-10-27. Same as the EYE MINI: Pro ($199/yr) + GSPro ($250/yr) for third-party sims. Needs wired Ethernet and a Windows PC. By my math that's about $3,346 over three years and $4,244 over five.

Does the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE need a subscription?

No plan is required for the core features. Same as the EYE MINI: Pro ($199/yr) + GSPro ($250/yr) for third-party sims. Needs wired Ethernet and a Windows PC.

Can you use the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE outdoors?

No. It's an indoor unit.

How much space does the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE need?

It sits beside the ball, so it needs no space behind you. Plan for about 15 ft of total depth with a 10 ft ball-to-screen gap, and room for the unit on the hitting side.

What I couldn't verify (3)
  • release_year: inferred 2024 from PlayBetter (May 2025: 'on the market for more than a year') and a Nov 2024 Trustpilot owner review; no official launch date found
  • space dimensions: Uneekor publishes none for the LITE
  • region lock (Top Shelf Golf says US/Canada only; not on Uneekor page)
