Uneekor EYE MINI review

This is the camera unit I'd look at if I wanted GC3-style ball data plus impact video for less money, and I didn't mind a fiddlier setup. Budget for the Pro plan if GSPro is your goal.

You want plug-and-play simplicity.

My take on the Uneekor EYE MINI

The EYE MINI reads balls without markings, sits beside the ball and, in owner side-by-side comparisons, gets close to a GC3 on ball data. Owners also love the club impact replay, which is handy for checking whether an odd number was a bad read or a bad swing.

Setup is where Uneekor loses points. Owners describe it as more finicky than a GC3, with an Ethernet adapter needed at first and again after some updates. Club data needs stickers and can be erratic on path and attack angle.

Plans are cheaper than Foresight's for GSPro: Uneekor Pro is $199 a year (plus GSPro's $250), and a new Uneekor + GSPro bundle starts at $299 a year for new customers. At its $2,999 sale price, that's strong value.

What I'd check before buying

  • Uneekor Pro ($199/yr) for any third-party software
  • A capable Windows PC
  • Club stickers for club data

How I put this review together: I haven't had this unit in my own bay. It's built from Uneekor's own pages, retailer listings, published reviews and owner reports, each linked below. My research method.

The real cost of the Uneekor EYE MINI

I saw it at $2,999.00 (list price $4,500.00). Any third-party sim needs Uneekor Pro ($199/yr) plus GSPro ($250/yr). A new Uneekor + GSPro bundle starts at $299/yr for new customers.

Plan or add-onPer yearRequired? What it unlocks
Uneekor Player package$0OptionalIncluded free: ball and club data, VIEW virtual driving range, 100 Power U reports, 1 profile. Does NOT include third-party software connector.
Uneekor Pro$199.00OptionalThird-party software connector (GSPro, E6 Connect, TGC 2019, Creative Golf), Refine (5 courses), 500 reports, 5 profiles. Effectively REQUIRED to use any third-party sim.
Uneekor Champion$399.00OptionalPro + AI Trainer (needs Swing Optix cameras), Refine+ (20 courses), 1,000 reports, 50 profiles
Uneekor Ultimate$599.00OptionalChampion + GAMEDAY (40+ courses, needs two displays), online/tournament play, 100 profiles. 3 months free with new units.
GSPro license (third party, sold separately)$250.00OptionalGSPro course play; Uneekor FAQ says it ALSO needs an active Pro/Champion/Ultimate membership, so GSPro on Uneekor ~ $449/yr
Uneekor + GSPro integrated membership (announced 2026-10-18)$299.00Optional'Starting at' $299/yr for NEW Uneekor customers: GSPro course play + AI Trainer + VIEW; existing owners can switch at renewal. Exact tier contents beyond the news report unverified.
Year one
$3,448
Three years
$4,346
Five years
$5,244

My math: price + the yearly plan a typical owner needs to play full courses ($449.00/yr). Excludes net, mat, screen and projector. Compare every plan.

Where to buy

Uneekor membership tiers: Player free, Pro $199 per year, Champion $399 per year, Ultimate $599 per year
Uneekor's tiers: third-party software like GSPro needs Pro or higher. Screenshot of the maker's page, captured Oct 27, 2026.

The room it needs

The Uneekor EYE MINI is a camera-based unit (side of ball (floor unit beside the hitting area)). Units beside the ball read the launch with cameras, so they need little depth, but they must move to the other side for a left-handed golfer.

Unit behind the ballNot published
Ball to screen (minimum)10 ft
Room depth (minimum)Not published
Room width (minimum)Not published
Ceiling (minimum)Not published
Indoor / outdoorIndoor + Outdoor
Special balls or stickersNo marked balls (Dimple Optix). Club stickers needed for club data.

Uneekor does not publish room dimensions on the product page. Uneekor EYE MINI FAQ (quoted on PlayBetter) recommends 12 ft+ hitting position to screen, 10 ft minimum. Shop Indoor Golf placement table: unit 15.75 in beside the tee, recommended room 9 ft H x 14 ft W x 18 ft D (conservative). Breaking Eighty notes it takes about half the depth of behind-ball radar units.

What it measures (and what it estimates)

Makers rarely label which numbers are measured and which are calculated. Where the sources split them, I show it. A calculated value isn't useless, but it's more likely to drift indoors.

Measured

  • ball speed
  • launch angle
  • side angle (launch direction)
  • back spin
  • side spin
  • club path (stickers)
  • club speed (stickers)
  • attack angle (stickers)

Calculated / estimated

  • spin axis
  • smash factor
  • carry
  • run
  • total distance
  • apex
  • distance to apex
  • flight time
  • angle of descent
  • side total
  • ball flight type

Uneekor lists 15 ball + 4 club data points (19). NOT offered: face angle, face-to-path, impact point, dynamic loft, lie. Club data needs Uneekor fiducial stickers (1,280 included; placed near toe). Measured/calculated split is the standard photometric split (launch conditions measured at impact, flight results modeled); Uneekor does not publish an explicit split. PlayBetter describes the Lite (same sensor) as 'mostly direct measurement'.

Software and compatibility

Native apps: Uneekor VIEW (PC), VIEW Air (iPad/Mac M1+), EYE MINI mobile app, Refine / Refine+ (with membership), GAMEDAY (Ultimate). Runs on PC (Windows 11), iOS, Android, iPadOS, macOS (VIEW Air).

What published reviews found

These outlets published their own reviews. I summarize their headline verdict; read the full review for their testing details.

  • Breaking Eighty

8.5/10: excellent and among the best under $5,000, but pricey and subscription-dependent for full use.

Where the sources disagree

I show the conflict and which figure I used, rather than quietly picking one.

price

Uneekor site: $2,999 sale / $4,500 regular; Breaking Eighty (Feb 2026): $4,500 retail, ~$3,825 at PlayBetter

I use: Uneekor site $2,999 (Manufacturer page checked today; review prices predate the cut.)

data point count

Uneekor: 19 (15 ball + 4 club); Carl's Place comparison blog: 12 parameters

I use: Uneekor 19 (Manufacturer spec table lists every metric.)

Does the Uneekor EYE MINI need a subscription?

Can you use the Uneekor EYE MINI outdoors?

Yes, the maker and retailers list it for outdoor use as well as indoors.

How much space does the Uneekor EYE MINI need?

It sits beside the ball, so it needs no space behind you. Plan for about 15 ft of total depth with a 10 ft ball-to-screen gap, and room for the unit on the hitting side.
