Rapsodo MLM2XPRO review
Rapsodo's newest unit only opened for orders on October 15, 2026, so there's no owner track record to read yet. I'd watch this one rather than buy it on day one.

My take on the Rapsodo MLM2XPRO
The MLM2XPRO keeps the MLM2PRO's radar-plus-camera idea and the same plan structure, adds putting, and ships with 12 RPT balls at $899.99. Rapsodo's product page lists a slightly longer setup (about 7.5 ft behind the ball, 15.5 ft total).
My problem is simply evidence. There are no owner threads, no long-term reviews and no published accuracy checks yet. With the MLM2PRO at $549.99 and a proven record, I don't see a reason to pay $350 more for an unknown right now.
I'll update this page as owner reports come in. If they're good, this could become my budget pick for golfers who want spin and putting in one box.

What I'd check before buying
- Owner reports over the next few months
- Same Core plan ($199.99/yr) as the MLM2PRO
- 15.5 ft room depth
How I put this review together: I haven't had this unit in my own bay. It's built from Rapsodo's own pages, retailer listings, published reviews and owner reports, each linked below. My research method.
The real cost of the Rapsodo MLM2XPRO
I saw it at $899.99. Same Core plan as the MLM2PRO ($199.99/yr) for simulation and third-party software. 12 RPT balls included.
| Plan or add-on | Per year | Required? | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Optional | 11 metrics, Practice Mode, Swing Vision |
| Rapsodo Core | $199.99 | Optional | 15 metrics incl. spin/club data, 30,000+ courses, simulation putting, all practice modes, Swing Replay/Impact Vision; needed for third-party partner apps |
| Rapsodo Studios | $399.99 | Optional | Core plus ~25-30 premium 4K courses, sub accounts, junior tees, tournaments |
- Year one
- $1,100
- Three years
- $1,500
- Five years
- $1,900
My math: price + the yearly plan a typical owner needs to play full courses ($199.99/yr). Excludes net, mat, screen and projector. Compare every plan.

The room it needs
The Rapsodo MLM2XPRO is a radar + camera unit (behind ball). Radar units read the ball's flight, so they need space behind you for the unit and enough distance in front for the ball to fly before the screen.
| Unit behind the ball | 7.5 ft |
|---|---|
| Ball to screen (minimum) | 8 ft |
| Room depth (minimum) | 15.5 ft |
| Room width (minimum) | Not published |
| Ceiling (minimum) | Not published |
| Indoor / outdoor | Indoor + Outdoor |
| Special balls or stickers | RPT balls required for measured spin (12 included) |
Rapsodo: device 7.5 ft behind ball, at least 8 ft ball to net, 'just over 15 feet' total; taller players may need more room.

What it measures (and what it estimates)
Makers rarely label which numbers are measured and which are calculated. Where the sources split them, I show it. A calculated value isn't useless, but it's more likely to drift indoors.
Measured
- ball speed
- club speed
- launch angle
- launch direction
- attack angle
- club path
- spin rate (RPT ball only)
- spin axis (RPT ball only)
Calculated / estimated
- smash factor
- carry
- total distance
- side carry
- apex
- descent angle
Rapsodo explicitly labels measured vs calculated on the product page; calculated values use your elevation.

|---|---|---|
| GSPro | Yes | licence code via app; needs membership + internet |
| E6 Connect / E6 Apex | Yes | needs membership |
